Professor Massoud Amin the Director of the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota was being interviewed for the Chinese television network CGTN. He mentioned the transformative revolution that is taking place in the farming industry. The three purpose for this revolution is to

  1. Improve Efficiency
  2. Reduce Environmental Impact.
  3. Grow the Economy

He reminded the views on the importance of improving farm yield and quality. When he brought up Norman Borlaug (Green Revolution), Nobel Prize winner 1970 in the methods of crop yield.
